High demand for vending space
Public spaces in the new commercial area are in high demand, especially in the vicinity of the upgraded Central Market. Vendors, who could not be accommodated in the market itself, started to construct their shops outside along the road reserve, often creating problems for the Assembly to maintain the drainages and roads.
