| Local pride The upgraded traditional housing area in Mangochi with roads, drains and water is welcomed by the local people in the formerly flood prone area. Not all people have the financial capacity to built permanent structures in these housing areas. Building an attractive well-maintained house is possible using cheap, locally available construction materials. |
