Fighting malaria with urban infrastructure
After completion of the new road network the surveyor establishes levels for the drainage system. Functioning drains are needed in the flat landscape of Mangochi where heavy rainfalls can flood huge areas creating breeding grounds for malaria transmitting mosquitoes.
